Ok, I think I completely missed the icecream talk!! lol! So I just finished (and won) a challenge between myself and a fan. The challenge was who could do ezbar curls with 80lbs for the most reps by May 31 . . . . and I smoked him!! HA! I got 12 reps and he got 5! I LOVE it!!!! We set up a second challenge: this time it's whose biceps are bigger by August 4th. I think we all know who is gonna win!! HA!

No, my winning set wasn't recorded on video. My usual videographer wasn't around that day. But I will do up a bicep measuring video real quick here. And then an updated one of course for the challenge on August 4th! HA! Damn, I love winning!

So after a few months of frustration with my training, I am finally feeling happy and satisfied with my workouts once again. I had tried going to a higher volume - more sets - style of training, but my strength wasn't coming up the way I am used to seeing it go up. So after a minor breakdown and hissyfit during Monday's workout, I am back to Dog Crapp training - which is just one set per muscle group - and I am LOVING it!! I feel so much better already!!!
My frustration is probably why I haven't felt inspired to post anything here since my contest. Hopefully now I will have some great strength stories to tell!!

Ok funny story! This morning was the second time now that after a chest workout I couldn't reach across in front of me to roll up my own shirts sleeves!! My chest is so full and pumped right now that I had to ask my husband to roll my shirt sleeves up for me!! That's crazy!!!

Ok funny story! This morning was the second time now that after a chest workout I couldn't reach across in front of me to roll up my own shirts sleeves!! My chest is so full and pumped right now that I had to ask my husband to roll my shirt sleeves up for me!! That's crazy!!!

I deadlifted 225lbs for the first time since last year! Felt so good!! I got 7 reps out and can't wait for next time!!!! I love deadlifting!

Great, Wendy!  Did anyone ever try Guerilla Cardio? I hear it is supposed to be an extreme effective way to loose fat and gain endurance without loosing so much muscles and strenght... It is to run for 20 sec in full speed, then relax in 10, full speed in 20 sec, relax for 10, and you should keep on for four minutes. Then you should have been able to have done 8 races. I guess I should try it...

I've heard of it, Tore, but don't know too much about it and have never tried it. I'm not a runner tho . . . do you have to do it with running, or can you do it with a different exercise?
