Femsport 2010 March Edition

So the next Femsport is coming up March 27 in Kamloops, BC and we had our very first training for it this past week! We've got a couple of new girls giving it a whirl, which is always fantastic, and a number of familiar faces going for it again!! We are still in the midst of figuring out some of our team combinations, but we do have 2 teams set to go and they are repeats from last time around:

Reflex Rainbow: Sue Speers, Casey Lindquist, and Jen Klassen
Reflex Black: Wendy Lindquist, Julie B., and Michelle Krack

Hopefully we will soon have our other two teams finalized! Our first practice was SUPER FUN and I think we are all very excited for the next one!!

It's in Kamloops!? Are they just trying to make it less of a trip for Maria?

The summer edition is always in Yaletown, and the March one moves around to different locations.

We had our second practice tonight and everyone did GREAT!!! The girls work super hard, but it's always such a great time!!! Congratulations to each of the girls who are showing up for practice! That in itself is a great accomplishment!

Femsport practices are going great! The girls are getting stronger and faster with each practice!!! And best of all, we are having a great time doing it!

We have a third team finalized: Reflex Blue - Tracey, Michelle, and Jen K.

After a number of drop-outs it looks like we won't be able to piece together our final team, so we will have 1 or 2 singles competing unless we have a random girl contact us. We'll see!

1 week until Femsport! Our last practice is tomorrow afternoon . . . I know the girls are gonna TEAR IT UP!!! They've all become SO strong inside and out, and I am SO proud of each one of them for how far they've come! Can't wait for next weekend!

We leave tmrw evening for weigh-in and then we're at Femsport all day Saturday! Finally it's here! I feel like I've been waiting forever for it to come! Will update on Sunday once I'm back home!

These RESULTS are not "Official"....  or at least that what they say
over at the FemSports Website.... but they did in fact post these
"UN-OFFICIAL" results.... due to the fact that they had a computer
malfuction at the event.... HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM   

Why post "UN-OFFICIAL" results and then admit to a computer problem? 

Me thinks something is FISHY over in FemSports land!!!

We sincerely apologize for the scoring glitches we experienced yesterday and for keeping you all waiting. In the spirit of fair competition we wanted to assure that the results were correct before releasing them.

We are thankful for all the positive feedback we have received in regards to the overall event and appreciate your understanding on the scoring issues.

We look forward to seeing you at the next FEMSPORT event in August.

Thanks for posting that, EZ . . . yes, they had their usual computer crash, tho this time instead of us waiting around for two hours and getting results/awards, we waited around for two hours and got sent home! lol! I think Nancy just wanted to get something posted ASAP so that we had an idea of where we stood. Even when they present awards at Femsport, they still say it's unofficial until they get a chance to triple check everything. Apparently it's a highly complicated method of scoring that requires a computer crash every single time! HA!

Cause they got you listed as being in 4th place! 

BUT.... it looks like not one but two of the "Lindquist Ladies" did
pretty good... congrats to Teams Reflex BLACK and RAINBOW!!

We don't know what the prizes were as there wasn't really an awards ceremony, Mike.
